Though known for his language play, Calvin Trillin probably never saw this one coming. In Questionstruck, William Walsh compiles only the questions from Trillin’s 25 books. The effect is surreal and slightly unhinged. Check out the cognitive dissonance when the questions jump from “Who’s Cousin So-and-so?” to “Otherwise, why did I sack all those onions?” Is it strange? Is it worthwhile? Do you really need to ask?
