Interviews with Studs
Studs Terkel on a Soapbox
These are two clips from “Studs Terkel on a Soapbox,” a 2002 episode of Chicago Stories, broadcast on WTTW. Each contains excerpts from various interviews with Studs over the years, from his early days up to his 90th year.
The 2nd clip is particularly poignant, as it features Studs discussing his late wife Ida, and shows him in a bar talking about taverns with Chicago news columnist Mike Royko.
