Trivia night Tuesdays, 8pm at 50/fifty (2047 W Division St, 773-489-5050)
How it’s played Manager Adam Porte—a trivia connoisseur—hosts six-round team trivia. Each round includes three pop-culture questions revolving around a timely theme. Bingo games, name-that-shot (what are the ingredients in a Vegas bomb?) and “scatagory for the ribbon” (that’s Pabst Blue Ribbon) liven up the scoring downtime.
Average question “How many siblings does Michael Jackson have?” Then Porte might whip out his guitar and ask you to provide the lyrics to a Jacko tune.
Difficulty level Questions are so mundane they’re boring at times, and there’s no chastising if your team seems to suspiciously grow larger throughout the game.
Food or drink special $2 Mickey’s Hand Grenades, $4 Goose Island seasonal and 312 drafts
Prizes PBRs, shots
