Trivia night Mondays, 8pm at Crew (4804 N Broadway, 773-784-2739)
How it’s played Sister Mary Monistat, your sassy habit-wearing host, calls out questions for “class”—Monistat’s cheeky title for two rounds of name-that-song, a fill-in-the-blank picture round, and multiple-choice questions. Up to four players can enter as a team, and this popular night pulls in 20–25 teams a week.
Average question “What war was the Battle of the Bulge in? Egh, Sister battles the bulge every day!”
Difficulty level Questions can be pretty hard—especially the three second name-that-song clips—but no matter, both winners and losers score prizes.
Food or drink special Half-price chicken wings, $6 mango or ruby-red margatitas, $3.75 Peroni pints
Prizes A round of shots, $50 gift card for the bar, gift certs from Pleasure Chest
Howwabout the gay boys be original for a change and dress up as a 1) mullah 2) orthodox priest or 3) rabbi?
