Indigo Girls
Jun 6, 9pm | House of Blues
They’ve been around long enough that even their biggest fans take them for granted. The Girls’ last album, Despite Our Differences, hit shelves back when there were still retail shelves, but Amy Ray and Emily Saliers’s work ethic earns them the right to bask in some adulation without shilling. Sold out.
Actual cost $33

Dave Matthews Band
Jun 6, 7pm | Toyota Park
The South African expat and his legion of ball cap–wearing fans represent everything wrong about jam rock, sabotaged by indulgences only the hardcore appreciate. We’re looking at you, Electric Violin Guy with Dreadlocks. Locals can’t even say Dave’s name without recalling that this is the guy whose tour bus dumped raw sewage onto a boatload of tourists floating innocently down the Chicago River. It was four years ago, but it still stinks.
Actual cost $65–$75
