OtomHe makes edible paper! He cooks fish in a box at your table! He serves tricked-out Styrofoam peanuts! Sure, Moto chef Homaro Cantu does a lot of crazy stuff, but how often can you afford to dine at his patience-testing West Loop science lab? A couple times a year, maybe. At the adjacent sibling spot, Otom, Cantu protégé Daryl Nash is a bit more restrained in applying his chemistry lessons, and the food succeeds because of it. While there’s still a bit of frothing, foaming and dehydrating going on, the majority of the dishes deftly dress up classics—mac and cheese gets double-smoked bacon and truffled white cheddar, braised short-rib meat is stuffed into ravioli and coupled with candied sweet potato, and its banana split is somewhat deconstructed, isolating the flavors to remind you just what makes up a classic in the first place. 951 W Fulton Mkt, 312-491-5804.

Really-why would you guys make people that you want to read your website click on each topic. I wanted to provide this to visiting friends but their visit was over by the time I got through all the pages... Get a new format, really...

I HATEclicking on each restaurant --this is so tedious I won't be back-- I imagine that your advertisers buy space according to how many clicks you can FORCE your readers to go through to get anywhere...and that's why you have made this site impossible for your readers--better to find a less annoying way to increase revenue... This site is RIDICULOUS!

Golly, the set-up of this article is painful and exceedingly user-unfriendly. A one-page list with links to details would be a lot more usable, as others have commented.

Good grief... no simple list of all the winners? I'm supposed to click through one at a time? previous writer nailed it: there isn't enough time in my life.
We live in the south suburbs and are looking for somewhere "new" to go to for our anniversary. What do you think of this restaurant, and is it worth the trip? Thank you. We are going tomorrow eve.
I agree that trying to read this article is the pits on this new site. Very slow to load, and that's especially annoying when there's only one paragraph per page. Big thumbs down.
The new beta site.. yuk! There isn't enough time in my life to view your articles one at a time. And I have a fast internet connection. On a smartphone forget about it. The search engine went from terrible to horrendous, and I was just getting started on figure it out.
