Best Soul Food
Army & Lou’s
Other nominees: Edna’s, Izola’s, Pearl’s Place, Soul Queen
While a great fried-chicken batter is quite an accomplishment, it takes more than being finger-licking good to win soul-food lovers’ hearts. Sixty years as a community fixture, political arena and postchurch gathering spot seems to have done the trick (in addition to that damn good chicken). From the Louisiana gumbo to the open-faced roast beef sammies, the homestyle fare at Army & Lou’s has become a Chicago fixture. 422 E 75th St, 773-483-3100.

Same comment as another article. 20 pages (or more) shows total disrespect for site visitors. I was about to recommend this site to some discussion groups I am on but it is not going to happen now. What are you folks thinking?
Naha is so expensive! I went there and could not believe how expensive both the food and wine were!
Gee, can you make it any more difficult to view your webpage? I won't be back.
I am a subscriber! How about an area where we can save our favorites? Chicago and New York editions.
