IN THE HEIGHTS Even though Marcus Samuelsson’s C-House has been open for weeks, most of that time it has only served breakfast. So the recent arrival of lunch and dinner should be causing a stir—except that C-View, the lounge 29 stories above it, is stealing all the attention. And rightly so: As the highest rooftop patio in the city (and since tall, plastic partitions essentially serve to wall in the place, we use the term “patio” somewhat loosely), this bar has views you can’t get anywhere else. Plus, it’s serving a Samuelsson-designed menu of bar snacks, including towering seafood platters like the ones served downstairs. All of which means C-View might upstage its sibling until autumn. After all, the restaurant can wait—but the nice patio weather won’t. 166 E Superior St at St Clair St (312-787-6000).
