THE DEAL
To ramp up business earlier in the evening, this eclectic sibling of Rise Sushi is serving a menu of discounted small plates ($4–$8) from 3 to 7pm and a buy-one-get-one-free promo for cocktails, wines by the glass and beers.

THE STEAL
The drink promo applies to anything behind the bar, so scoring two top-shelf cocktails or two fancy beers for $7 is quite a deal. From the menu, the duck-confit spring roll stands out for its rich, earthy flavor and curry aioli.

THE RUB
Unfortunately, while they might be cheap, not many of the small plates are actually memorable. Mussels were a bit funky, and all three sandwiches of the burger trio (salmon, beef and chicken) suffered from being overcooked and underflavored.
