In an effort to offer some peace of mind to cash-strapped diners, this LEYE outpost launched “Peace Meal”—pan-Asian snacks offered by the piece for 50 cents, 75 cents and a dollar from 3pm to 5:30pm Monday through Friday at the bar or high-top tables.THE STEAL
With eight snacks to choose from, you could order one of each and leave quite happy having made an eclectic, snacky meal for $6. But if you’re homing in, focus on the tender chile-soy-glazed beef satay and the dumplings in shallot-flecked sesame oil.THE RUB
With no drink specials and pricey zip codes to boot, this place ensures you end up spending more on a cocktail or glass of wine than dinner.
