In fact, if you’ve ever been to one of owner Dan Latino’s other bars (Waterhouse, Rebel, Bluelight), you might venture to say they’re the opposite of indie. Like Waterhouse, Pitchfork Food & Saloon (on a nondescript stretch of Irving Park Road on the Northwest Side) has a trivia night (Wednesday), daily specials ($3 burgers on Mondays), and a menu of Southern comfort food like chili, pulled-pork sandwiches and meat loaf. Cementing the separation between the music force and the bar: Thursdays are Country Nights, featuring $12 slabs of ribs from Cordis Brothers Supper Club. Though, now that we think about it, those indie kids have been going country lately.… 2922 W Irving Park Rd (773-866-2010).
