It’s been four years since Sue Blatt and Kathleen Habbley launched the first Renegade Craft Fair, a weekend event dedicated to contemporary, quirky and otherwise noncorny crafts. The duo is taking the fair to the next level by opening a full-scale boutique, Renegade Handmade. “We’re selling items from some of our favorite craft-fair vendors,” Habbley says. “It just seems like all the pieces fell into place.” Look for fair favorites such as twee My Paper Crane plush pastries (pictured; $15–$45) and endearingly bizarre Cotton Monsters ($50–$100), along with So Softies stationery goods ($2–$10) by Brooklyn-based artist Marilyn Patrizio. And don’t worry about the future of the Renegade Craft Fair events—they’ll continue on as usual. 1924 W Division St at Winchester St (773-227-2707, renegadehandmade.com).—Annie Tomlin
