Why As part of Fashion Focus Chicago, Gen Art is bringing back its popular shopping event, Shop Chicago, in a tent at Chase Promenade North in Millennium Park. Past designers have included Lara Miller, Wrath Arcane and Michelle Tan, with discounts starting at 25 percent off. Last year, Miller’s Cynthia Short Bloomers that originally went for $160 were $96 at the sale; and the Drew Cardigan dropped from $220 to $130. The shopping event will also feature the as-yet-unnamed designers from the organization’s Fresh Faces show.
