Great Danes Apparently, good things come in threes; the third European bike shop to open in Chicago over the past eight months has hunkered down in Wicker Park on Milwaukee Avenue, just below proprietor Brent Norsman’s architecture firm. While the majority of commuter bikes here are by Copenhagen-based brand Velorbis, the shop purveys a range of rides (as well as leather and waterproof bags and other accessories from European and local lines), from a $700 no-frills number to a $2,400 bright pink Bullitt cargo suited for heavy lifting. 1375 N Milwaukee Ave (773-456-0024, copenhagencyclery.com).
