Ryan is right....Wonderburger is awesome. Ask for secret sauce it tastes just like In and Out Burger in LA. Best kept secret on the southside!!
Best 2 on the far southside that were left out: Top Notch in Beverly and Wonderburger in Mount Greenwood.
rodans burger is awesome!
Jack is an idiiot. He apparently ordered a mastery of Art from Kumas and expected Burger King... Kumas is BY FAR the best and most inventive burger joint in the city. Good luck getting in, and don't order a "plain" burger... that's not the point of going there.
Kuma's is the most overrated burger in the city. Dry, tasteless and overpriced. Get a clue.
It looks like this article was written before Kuma's opened, which is probably why it isn't included. But they don't need any more publicity anyway, the place is too packed now to be enjoyable, despite having the best burgers in town. I'm waiting until summer to go back, when the patio is open!
I agree with Brett. They have Goose Island beating a Kuma Burger, which is very well the best dressed up burger in Chicago. You can't even eat in that bar anymore because the wait is so long to get a table. Do some more research next time, Timeout. I know its hard to get a table there, but you could order it to go, and its guaranteed to put any other burger to shame.
No Kumas? Are you kidding me? Not a very well researched article, Kumas can put to shame multiple categories you have made with different burgers on their menu.
I'm surprised that the burgers from Chicago Burger Company at the Sheraton are not listed. I have had their burgers and they are as good as any I have ever had. great location to sit outside.
