The scoop After a trip to Florence for frozen-yogurt sampling, 21-year-old Kim Smith decided Chicago needed a fro-yo shop with a similar modern aesthetic

The verdict Smith says her fro-yo is sweetened only with “natural sugar,” but there’s a slightly chemical taste up front. The tart-to-sweet ratio is about even, meaning it’s less tart than the competition, and the texture is somewhat icier, almost like soft-serve sorbet.
