CHUCK
THE DUDE
Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi), a Stanford dropout who was minding his own business working in an electronics store when a document containing all the government’s spy secrets downloaded itself into his brain. Now he’s a store clerk by day, secret agent by…well, mostly by day, also.
ADD ONE PART FANTASY TO…
...three parts spy comedy. Chuck is a pop twist on the espionage-adventure genre—just roll with the his-subconscious-stores-government-secrets conceit.
THE BLOND
Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski), the knockout CIA agent assigned to protect Chuck from dangerous shenanigans. To complicate things, part of their cover is that they’re a couple, blurring the will they/won’t they line. Chuck says he’d rather wait “for something real,” but these two obviously lerve each other.
THE BRUNETTE
Chuck’s sister, Ellie (Sarah Lancaster), who’s in the dark about his CIA work. Alternately, Chuck’s college girlfriend, Jill (Jordana Brewster), whom he’s never gotten over but isn’t a regular on the show
THE NOTABLE GUEST STARS
Michael Clarke Duncan, Nicole Richie, John Larroquette, Tony Hale, Morgan Fairchild
BUT ALL THE BEST LINES GO TO…
Major John Casey (Adam Baldwin), a grumplestiltskin NSA agent assigned to protect Chuck
CHANCES OF SURVIVAL
NBC has already picked up the show for a full second season, but lousy ratings make a third season far from a sure bet. 50/50.
