Description
For most of you, this place isn't worth the hike. But for you Far North Siders out there, it's an oasis in your own back yard. This 60-year-old gem offers three-dozen beers (including La Fin du Monde, Delirium Tremens and Smithwicks), cracker-thin "Chicago bar–style" pizza and herb-flecked garlic fries that have quite the loyal local following. Our only hope is that someone fixes the schizo jukebox that's been playing Hall & Oates every other song.

maybe the above review was old, but there is no jukebox. the menu is completely redone with healty but really good options. a gourmet mac and cheese with bacon and bread crumbs, grilled veggies, and great specials -- 2 for 1 pizza on tues, 2-1 burgers on wed are my favs. i had been in only a handful of times, but the staff treated me like family. in a group , or alone -- its a great place.
give it another try. have not had a juke box for two+ years... custom mixes made by the staff. it rocks
