Dimly lit—probably to hide the many blemishes it has acquired over its half century in business—and teetering on the edge of town between the Loyola and Northwestern campuses, this cozy, low-ceilinged dive is home to a bevy of Far North Side comrades (i.e., smarmy old men) and students who trek off-campus for the cheap pool, cheap darts and even cheaper beer.

Mon–Fri 5pm–4am; Sat 7pm–5am; Sun 7pm–4am.
