Description
Around the corner from Division Street's jack-ass bar scene is this cozy one-room saloon tucked inside the Canterbury Court Hotel. Singles, socialites, cigar smokers and even sexagenarians pack themselves in on busy weekends. The zebra theme is a bit reckless, but distinctive. The ultrared lighting, on the other hand, makes you wonder if students from the Art Institute are going to emerge from behind the bar with developed film. A nightly piano player keeps the Zebra refreshingly unhip with old-school faves like "Do You Know the Way to San Jose."
