Description
This program is full of fresh and new pieces. The title work, Touch, is a world premiere by DRDT's artistic director Kevin Iega Jeff set to music by Nina Simone and Bobby McFerrin. Associate artistic director Gary Abbott has also created a world premiere with the working title 53 Inhale. Also on the program: Nicole Clarke-Springer's Nine receives its company premiere. More familiar repertory pieces anchor the evening, including Jeff and Abbott's 2006 ancestral exploration Ferrotype and Jeff's 1991 politico-spiritual work Church of Nations.When
