Description
Inspired by Seattle's Emerald City Soul Club, the Ann Arbor Soul Club at the Blind Pig and soul ragers at Milwaukee's Redroom, Ben Pirani and friends Northern soul–oriented traveling revue celebrates one year of dusty goodness. They concentrate on the upbeat cuts that were the staples of the all-night dance parties at Wigan Casino and Blackpool Mecca in England well into the mid-'70s. If you don't like Motown, you won't get it.
