Spiritually aware, deep music night Africa Hi-Fi celebrates five years of consciousness-expanding dance rhythms . Resident Ron Trent has been a key figure in Chicago's house explosion and was once resident and A&R man for New York's Giant Step label. He dips into jazz, house and hip-hop but not too many African beats. He's recently thrown his weight behind a classics mix for a British label. Whatever he does, he always schools us properly. The gregarious Sonia Hassan hosts, and, L.A.'s DJ Rashida joins.
