Description
Eliasson's 15-year retrospective subverts our expectations of how museums should look, sound and smell. The Danish-Icelandic artist's large-scale experiments with color and light are a treat for the eyes, but we found more meaning in his less photogenic projects—especially the oscillating fan he imbues with menace, and the wall of fragrant reindeer moss that threatens to engulf its sterile white gallery.
