Description
Robin Hawdon's adaptation translates this trifle by latter-day French master farceur Marc Camoletti (Boeing Boeing) into this-very-second contemporaneity, and the cast positively bristles with light-comedy chops. A French-countryside gentleman's prearranged tryst with mistress Suzanne, kept under wraps by globe-trotting pal Robert, is complicated when his wife cancels her plans. As everyone covers up for everyone else, the fibs multiply, creating a perfect storm of tenuous bullshit.—Brian Nemtusak

I saw Don't Dress For Dinner on New Year's Eve and thought it was fabulous! I've never laughed harder in my life! The entire cast was amazing, but Jeffrey Donovan and Spencer Kayden really shined. If there's one play people should make time to see during a visit to Chicago, it's this one! Worth the price of admission and then some :-)
As the British adaptor of DON'T DRESS FOR DINNER, I have only just discovered your opening date. Would like to communicate with Damian Arnold the producer (or indeed John Tillinger, Director) but don't have their emails. Can you put me in contact with either via email? Thanks, Robin Hawdon.
