Description
Dave Longstreth's Dirty Projectors play a thumping, intricate art pop, complete with razor-sharp soukous-style guitars and otherworldly three-part harmony. It's among the most lively and infectious sounds we've heard from the current Brooklyn crop. Merrill Garbu, who performs and records as Tune-Yards (or, more obnoxiously, tUnE-YaRds), is a restless mega-eccentric in search of a sound she likes well enough to stick with for more than one song.
