An active dancer and performer, Chremos started writing because most cultural editors and writers don't know squat about dance, and somebody had to do something. Although she enjoys the role of agent provocateur, her harshly judgmental streak is usually superceded by her do-gooding desire to encourage dance appreciation among the public.
