Plosser is a Kansas City girl at heart, but her route back to the Midwest was a circuitous one, beginning with college on the East Coast, followed by a two-year stint as an investment banker in New York City, and then a much happier three years as a fitness, health and nutrition editor at Self magazine in the heart of Times Square. Despite her editing background, this massage-and-manicureÐobsessed, seven-time marathoner isn't a 24/7 health nut; she loves barbecue, margaritas, sleeping late, and thinks there is nothing better than sharing a bottle of red wine and a deep-dish pizza after a long day. Plosser is thrilled to be at Time Out Chicago and back in the Midwest. She continues writing for Self and also freelances for Runner's World, Prevention and Women's Health. She's a graduate of Princeton University.
