Description
You could graze all day at this bustling vegetarian Indian restaurant, but first you'd have to figure out the menu. If you're not completely familiar with chaat (snacks), traditional Indian breakfast dishes and vegetable curries, ask for the TOC translated menu, where you'll find descriptions of the overwhelming options. Potatoes cooked with mustard seed and cumin are a perfect filling for the crispy, two-foot long paper dosa; order it "masala" and you'll also get a smear of tangy chutney. For a carnival of flavors, try the Swati samosa chaat, a smashed potato pocket drenched in silky yogurt, tamarind chutney and subtly spicy "salsa," with torn cilantro for pungent punch. Not sure? Order anything and you're bound to get fresh, flavorful, meat-free eats for a good price.

Excellent place. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and were pretty lost with the menu. We told our waiter just to bring us what he thought was good or unique. Most everything was delicious though it all seemed to edge to the sweet side of things. Wonderful chaat, mixed veg, and some of the best nan I've had in a long time - light and not too bulky. We ate like pigs and the total was only $25 for two of us. I will definitely go back!
