Yes, it's one of the best restaurant names in Chicago, but pay it no mind—or, rather, don't pay attention to the first half, which refers to the expendable portion of the menu devoted to American food (burgers, chili dogs, mac and cheese). What you want is the lahim beajin, a thin, crisp pita topped with fiery ground beef; the burek, an eggroll-like shell stuffed with a savory blend of meat, herbs and spices; and the simple but delicious lentil soup. Still want some big buns? Continue your Middle Eastern binge with some shawarma and falafel, and you'll be well on your way.

are you kidding me? I just ordered 2 gyros a large hummos, rice pudding and fries. The Gyros were sooooo dry and sauce? what sauce? there was something that looked white and crusty on the pita that must have been the sauce....and meat? ohhhh you mean the dried out flavorless meat that made my dogs food look good? I was standing at the desk waiting for 10 minutes to order my food while the OWNER was on the phone taking orders. Everytime I tried to place MY order she said ohhh excuse me and cut me off and answered the phone. I tried to be patient but all I can say is this place SUCKED...it was the WORST GYRO I have EVER tasted. the only thing that was decent was the fries. Ohhh and the hummos they said on the menu "authentic hummos" well when I went to take the food back I saw the "authentic" CAN of hummos on the back table! And I ordered a LARGE hummos...your joking right..large? I dont think so....I came home and i found this large tin about 9 inches in diameter and the bottom was filled..I was thinking ooooh woooow this is really a large. Well what they did was smear the hummos on the bottom of the tin....with one swipe of the pita you see the bottom of the tin! I scooped it all out and it didnt even fill a cup...I MEASURED it with my measuring cup and I paid $4 for not even a cup!!!!! NEVER EVER EVER will I go here again!!!1
