Description
Veteran chef Scott Reading (Avec, Le Francais, Gordon) is at the helm of this polished little café, which sports a fireplace, cheery chartreuse walls and a menu dotted with interesting options. The Creole Benedict is a stellar morning option, especially with a cup of the excellent Metropolis house blend (just ask for the mayo-thick hollandaise on the side to fully enjoy the crawfish étouffée). Roasted vegetable–packed frittata is well-seasoned, with a tart little pile of arugula to cut through the buttery egg. Lunch hits include a salad of grilled radicchio and endive with lardons and delicious potato croquettes, and a nice rotating soup, recently mushroom barley.

Mon–Fri 7am–7pm; Sat–Sun 8am–4pm. Brunch daily.

I love this place! The food is out of this world! So, tasty! Lots of incredible food at decent prices. The people and atmosphere keep us coming back. Nice cheery place with excellent made to order food. what more could anyone ask for?
