The trend of cutting-edge Spanish cooking hasn't yet reached this tapas bar, which serves up small plates that are tried-and-true. Chicken croquettes have a hot, crisp crunch that gives way to a creamy center; slices of tortilla Española are tall and savory; and monkfish flakes apart in its delicious broth. There are some weird dishes on the menu—a cold noodle salad topped with crispy duck confused the hell out of us. But when the weather is warm and you're sitting in the back garden slowly draining a pitcher of dry sangria, it's easy to let a little misstep slide.
