Description
We could forgive this newish, loungey restaurant for its apparent identity crisis (black tablecloths topped with crudely ripped white butcher paper, plasmas showing sports while Euro techno beats away, etc.) if the hodgepodge of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food were delicious, but no such luck. Hummus and falafel are indeed fresh and housemade but don't sport so much as a trace of salt or flavor, for that matter. Ditto for the underwhelming pastas (even the juicy chorizo couldn't save blah chicken linguine) and kebabs (lamb was tender, but the dry veggies and rice killed the appeal).

Wow, that review seemed really harsh, especially in comparison with my experience here. I like the ambience--laid back and slightly loungey without trying too hard, and TVs are always nice when there's a game on--and the food was very good. The kebabs were amazing (esp.the filet and ground beef) and my pasta was very indulgent, but tasty. The pita they served with the appetizers was hot and fresh, and they also had some solid, inexpensive wines. Overall, I'd definitely go back.
Excellent Persian cuisine which is crowned by the Persian Martini. Prices are very decent and the ambience unusually relaxing. A great place to start a long lasting party night in the Lincoln Park area.
The food was excellent and the was great. There is a great ambiance and great persian martini's. The food and drink prices are both reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Lincoln Park area.
