The dining room is full of tables dressed with blinding white linens that are, most of the time, empty. But don't let that give you pause. The meze we tried—a creamy bowl of hummus, a steaming spinach pie and the crunchy, eponymous salad—were all potent with sharp, tangy lemon juice, while the aromatic kibbeh was packed with cinnamon. The kebabs aren't very kebablike—they're more like thin steaks than cubes—but they're juicy nonetheless. Still, we'd rather save room for the four kinds of sticky, flaky baklava, which are so good we'd be back for those alone.
