Description
Skip the spate of breakfast basics at this the city's first Dutch pancake house, and order the one savory pannenkoek. At a centimeter thick, almost a foot in diameter, and topped with baked-on slices of bacon and havarti cheese, it will quickly prompt comparisons to an open-faced crêpe. While not all of the three varieties of pannenkoek on offer are as delicious (indeed, the chocolate-banana topping turned the pancake into a soggy, overly sweet mess), this cheery and charming little breakfast nook is well worth at least one trip, if only to slake a curiosity about the Dutch treats.
