Description
The owner of Pizza Metro and a former pie-slinger for Pizza D.O.C. combine wits on what they do best at this corner spot at the northern edge of Ravenswood. It's clear after one bite of the rectangular pizzas that it's Metro that's driving the style—Roman in shape and structure, the pies are thin (but not cracker-thin), crunchy (but not dry) and topped with tasty combos like al dente eggplant and zucchini or a perfect balance of salty, tart and rich with diced ham, fresh mushrooms, artichoke and black olives.
