Description
West Logan Square must have been pretty hungry before this simple sandwich-and-shake shack came along, because now that it's here, locals are cramming in and eating everything in sight. That means that not everything on the chalkboard menu will be in stock, but if you're lucky you'll snag a bowl of thick, peppery, housemade minestrone. Sandwiches (such as the Reuben, filled with thick slices of beef and mercifully light on Thousand Island dressing) and hand-dipped shakes are the stars of the show, but it wasn't until we tried the superb sweet-potato pie that we truly understood what all the fuss was about.
