Description
This opulent, 24,000-square-foot multiroom space was supposed to be Eric Aubriot's new home, where he would combine French and Moroccan cuisine in the most seamless, sophisticated ways. But, in a turn that really surprised nobody, Aubriot didn't last but a few weeks, leaving behind a restaurant that serves a limited menu of kebabs, hummus, lentil soup and a few tagines. Everything is cooked appropriately, but it all needs salt and other flavor enhancers. Still, it's worth it to go once, if only to gawk at the amazing tile work, fabrics and belly dancers (who are more than happy to let you get a good look).
