Description
You know that small-town, blue-collar seafood spot that's part neighborhood bar, part nice night out, part "cater my cousin's wedding"? That's "the Pier," where chef-owner Peter McCarthy favors honest (sometimes nearly naked) preps of a dozen types of seafood. Lobster tails, crab legs, crispy perch, pan-seared arctic char�all are served simply, with new potatoes, a green veg and a wedge of lemon. The straightforward approach goes a long way with the Sox-loving crowd of Jeff Park locals; come for Tuesday's $12 specials menu or Wednesday's and Thursday's $25 three-course, and you'll get caught up in the lure of the place, too.
