Description
It gets overlooked among the slew of Middle Eastern restaurants that dot this stretch of Kedzie Avenue, but the exceptionally fresh fare puts this Lebanese spot at the head of its class. Pita bread makes for a soft and warm utensil to scoop up moutabal, a spread of eggplant mashed with onions and peppers. Kibbeh is made to order and is one of the least greasy and most flavorful versions in the city. Kebabs—both chicken and kefta—are juicy renderings of high-quality meats. And unlike the restaurant's popular neighbors, there's never a long wait to get inside.
