Old Town Brasserie
Prices
Average main course: $20.
Description
Roland Liccioni's departure from this tony brasserie last year was followed by a brief stint from Andy Motto before the latter, too, headed to the 'burbs. Now out-of-town transplant Christian Phernetton is in the kitchen. Through it all, the room has remained classic, just like the French menu, with its escargots, country paté, salad Lyonnaise, and herb-roasted amish chicken. Except now, these are more like classic deals: a Monday prix-fixe brings a three-course menu for $32, Tuesdays take half off the wine list, and Sundays the place goes BYOB with no corkage fee.
Hours
Brunch (Sun only), dinner.
All of these deals to make up for their less than satisfactory meals. It will never be the same as when Roland Liccioni was there.
