This stalwart Pilsen hole-in-the-wall has moved into bigger, brighter digs, making it even more of an appealing alternative to the often long lines elsewhere in the neighborhood. The menu touts (with good reason) the toothsome, satisfyingly steamy tamales filled with tender stewed pork. But nearly everything is easy to like at these low prices, including carne asada with nice char flavor and a rich and complex poblano mole that's dished out over chicken or enchiladas.
