Shawn McClain may be the face of this South Loop steak-centric spot, but chef de cuisine Richard Camarota handles the day-to-day executing like a pro. Lately, we've been smitten with Camarota's specials like rabbit two ways—the leg braised and served with English peas, fava beans and asparagus, and the white meat rolled in housemade bacon and baked into a potpie. The restaurant recently added weekend lunch, with a serious incentive to head to the South Loop: The popular burger—topped with caramelized onions, bacon and steak sauce—is now available for $5 from noon–4pm every Saturday and Sunday.
