Description
This Nuevo Latino hot spot has the looks of a lounge but it isn't all show. After chef Bryan Garcia left last year, sous chef Edie Jimenez (formerly of Red Light and China Grill) took the reins. Menu standouts like the seafood cocktail, crispy flautas stuffed with agave-roasted beef and the beer-braised short rib remain, but it's in the weekly specials—like a snow crab bisque that gets a kick with Mexican chiles—where Jimenez breathes new life into relatively ho-hum dishes.
