Description
The masterminds behind TRU have done it again, but this time think Italian share plates for a nice price. Servers will steer you toward the $35 three-course table tasting, where seasonal tastes arrive in waves and you choose only your entrée. Marinated olives in herbed oil with warm focaccia are followed by antipasti like veal meatballs and Maine Mussels in a spicy broth. Hearty pastas rotate but can include a tasty bolognese pappardelle and hand-rolled ricotta cavatelli with wild mushrooms. Skip the wine list and try the creative "Just Bring Me Wine," pairings in three different price ranges.
