We thought the light had dimmed on this Latin-theme diva, but recent visits have proved she's still alive and kicking. Packed with mojito-swilling regulars on the weekends, Mambo Grill's dark room, Latin sounds and around-the-world rum flights add up to a sexy singles scene. Best bets include the flaky mushroom-and-roasted-corn empanadas, tres queso chile rellenos, crisp Latin cobb salad in a refreshing mojo de mango rum vinaigrette, coconut-curried tilapia, and a tequila-marinated skirt steak that's tempting enough to drag us back on a weekday for another helping. But in the light of day and when we're not-so-under-the-influence, lunch is a bit lackluster.
