Since opening its doors in '87, Frontera Grill has been the spot for an intensely flavorful, impeccably fresh slice of Mexico, courtesy of celeb chef Rick Bayless. With the help of chef Richard James, the menu changes often—currently the focus is on food as bright and sunny as the colorful dining room. Spicy serrano-marinated grass-fed flank steak gets a flavor burst from hand-crushed tomatoes, grilled knob onions and sweet corn tamales, while garlicky Alaskan king salmon rests in a creamy sauce of fresh chilaca chiles, served alongside Living Waters green beans and crispy epazote. And don't let summer go by without trying one of the impeccable margaritas.
