Description
The dinner prices reflect this spot's downtown address and swank decor, so we like to take advantage of the daily lunch buffet ($14.95 Thurs–Sun; $13.95 Mon–Wed) that's one of the best in town. The hot line has around ten flavorful choices, and usually includes creamy chicken tikka masala, cardamom-flavored lamb rogan josh, silky spinach with fresh cheese cubes, smoky onion- and garlic-studded yellow dal and spicy coconut-flecked fish Goa curry. Tender, smoky chicken vindaloo and fresh nan come straight from the kitchen, rather than sitting out on the buffet. Save room for tasty desserts like cardamom rice pudding and mango ice cream.
