Description
We could be snarky and say that it's all about the scene here, but the sushi is so damn good, we won't. Countering the aloof, black-clad servers, the Sade remix–loving DJ and the throngs of clubgoers filling up on preparty snacks are incredibly fresh sushi and creatively cooked dishes. Flash-cooked, citrus-tinged shrimp tops cool green tea–soba noodles; spicy, vinegar-tossed slaw is topped with tempura soft-shell crab that's drizzled with wasabi honey; impeccable grilled salmon gets earthy plum sauce and seared mizuna greens; and crunchy, gooey maki like the Ecuador, Godzilla and Tarantula overload our senses.
