Description
The name of this new storefront in the old Palmito space is an acronym for pie, as in the pizza variety. Said specialty isn't bad—the thin crust is a tad thick and individual slices are overloaded with cheese—especially if you stick to the "creations" part of the menu with the Margherita and the Neapolitan ('rita plus anchovies). Salads have a just-picked-from-the-garden freshness, and big shavings of fresh Parm on the Caesar are a bonus. Pastas are no-frills red-sauce fare; the spaghetti laden with thick meat sauce could pass for homemade via a loving nonna's kitchen.
